LeasePlan Go - end-to-end implementation

Successful European roll-out of White Clarke Group's web-based end-to-end sales processing

Context

With the European corporate fleet finance sector pretty static, LeasePlan recognized the huge potential of entering the small fleet sector.

Challenge

Moving from a B2B environment to a B2C marketplace was a massive undertake which meant a change of culture, a major branding exercise, a move away from a direct sales force, a lot of management focus and implementation of leading edge IT solutions in multiple countries.

The main barrier to entry was the enormous degree of change necessary, including the implementation of new workflow systems in support of intermediaries such as dealers, brokers and banks, plus a self-service direct channel.

Solution

The solution had to be web-enabled, covering the full lending lifecycle from prospecting through to quotation, application entry and credit scoring; from work queue management to document management, contract activation and customer retention. All fully supported by an underlying Business Process Automation Engine.

The aim was to enable users to originate, adjudicate and document transactions in minutes. White Clarke Group was selected as partner, with systems built around the company's industry-leading CALMS, Catalyst and ICE applications. The web-based front-end was to be bespoke developed.

LeasePlan Go

Results

Leaseplan Go is now up and running in Spain, Portugal, Germany and Norway. This has been a considerable project, however, the bespoke development allows system integration with CRM, driving quotes through to the customer’s Salesforce system and a more service-orientated architecture (SOA) function allows communication with back-end systems and web services. Greece comes on board in 2015 with full systems development due for completion and rollout planned for Q3, ensuring that LeasePlan stays well ahead of the competition.
