Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific
Chris was appointed CEO of White Clarke Group's Asia Pacific arm in 2008. He has an impressive pedigree in the asset finance business solutions sector, spanning more than 20 years. His first encounter with the industry was specializing in strategic studies with one of the world’s largest management consultancy and technology services companies.
Chris was a founder member of a five-man start-up company, offering IT solutions to the asset finance sector, and was instrumental in growing the organization from scratch to a multinational operation employing 170 people across three continents. With strong technical expertise he built that company’s treasury module, was in charge of front-end and middle-office development and was responsible for a number of pan-European implementations.
A graduate of Oxford University, his specialty was physics.
Chris’s industry expertise has taken him to countries as diverse as the UK, Sweden, Holland, Germany, France, the US and Australia, giving him a unique insight into the different finance cultures around the globe. In his role as CEO White Clarke Group Asia Pacific, his team is currently involved with client projects in Australia, New Zealand, China, Taiwan, and Thailand.
Windswept and interesting, Chris is a keen sailor, having competed in dingy racing around the world, including eight world championships. On land, he is an experienced mountaineer and has scaled mountains such as Mont Blanc and peaks in the Himalayas.
