Ed White and the late Dara Clarke, two successful and highly accomplished management consultants with complementary skill sets

Long history of leadership

Ed White

After gaining a first in physics at St Catherine's College Oxford, followed by a doctorate in theoretical physics, Ed moved into consultancy and became a director of Andersen Consulting, with special responsibility for their work in information technology and advising banking and asset finance clients.

Ed has lectured widely on emerging trends in the financial services sector and acts as consultant to a number of institutions, banks and multi nationals on strategic information technology strategies. He is also the author of the leasing industry’s annual review, the Global Leasing Report.

Dara Clarke

Before founding White Clarke Group in 1992, Dara had many years’ experience within captive finance, banking and the asset finance sector. This included senior positions within organizations such as Barclays Bank, 3I Group and TSB subsidiaries. He has acted as an advisor to many international groups on business transformation using leading edge technology and process re-engineering; assisting in new asset finance set ups, reconstructions, mergers and acquisitions.

Together with his business partner, Dr Ed White, he has been an active investor in many technological start-ups, automotive service companies and specialist financial service companies under the umbrella of the White Clarke Group where he acted as CEO for 22 years.

Dara passed away on Sunday, 25th May 2014.
